Refund policy

Thank you for shopping with dclcamax.shop.

We want customers to understand clearly how returns, refunds, replacements, and damaged or defective products are handled.

This Return and Refund Policy applies to purchases made directly through dclcamax.shop.

Our voluntary return policy operates in addition to rights and remedies customers may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify a consumer guarantee or other legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

30-Day Voluntary Return Period

Subject to the conditions below, customers may request a voluntary return within 30 days after receiving an eligible product.

To request a return, contact:

info@dclcamax.shop

within the applicable return period.

Do not return an item without first contacting us. We will provide return instructions after reviewing the request.

The 30-day voluntary return period does not limit any longer period during which a customer may be entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law.

Eligibility for Change-of-Mind Returns

For a voluntary change-of-mind return, the product should generally:

  • Be returned within 30 days after delivery;
  • Be unused and unworn;
  • Be in substantially the same condition in which it was received;
  • Include original packaging where reasonably possible;
  • Include accessories, manuals, labels, and components supplied with the product; and
  • Be accompanied by reasonable proof of purchase.

We may decline a voluntary change-of-mind return if the item has been materially used, damaged after delivery, altered, washed, or is no longer reasonably resalable because of the customer's handling.

These voluntary conditions do not apply where doing so would interfere with rights arising from faulty, unsafe, incorrectly described, or otherwise non-compliant goods under Australian Consumer Law.

Australian Consumer Law

Goods sold by dclcamax.shop come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded where the Australian Consumer Law applies.

Depending on the circumstances, a customer may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, or another remedy if goods:

  • Are faulty or defective;
  • Are unsafe;
  • Are not of acceptable quality;
  • Do not match their description;
  • Are materially different from a sample or representation;
  • Are not reasonably fit for a disclosed purpose; or
  • Otherwise fail to comply with an applicable consumer guarantee.

For a major failure, customers may have the right to reject the goods and choose an available remedy as provided by Australian Consumer Law.

For a problem that is not a major failure and can be remedied within a reasonable time, we may provide an appropriate remedy consistent with our obligations under applicable law.

Our 30-day voluntary return period does not replace these statutory rights.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products

Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

If your product arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or materially different from what you ordered, contact:

info@dclcamax.shop

Please provide:

  • Your order number;
  • The name of the affected product;
  • A description of the problem; and
  • Photographs or other reasonable evidence where this assists us in identifying the problem.

We will review the matter and provide an appropriate solution.

Where the product is faulty or incorrect and we are responsible for the return under applicable law, we will arrange or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs as required.

Change-of-Mind Returns

We may accept eligible change-of-mind returns within the voluntary 30-day return period.

Unless required otherwise by law, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs associated with a change-of-mind return.

Original shipping charges, where any have been paid for an upgraded or non-standard shipping service, are generally non-refundable for change-of-mind returns unless required by law.

Standard shipping is free on orders placed with dclcamax.shop.

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene, safety, health, customisation, or other legitimate reasons, certain products may not qualify for voluntary change-of-mind returns, including:

  • Personalised or custom-made products;
  • Perishable goods;
  • Personal care or hygiene-sensitive items that have been opened or used;
  • Gift cards or similar stored-value products;
  • Products materially altered after delivery;
  • Products damaged through misuse or improper handling; and
  • Other items clearly identified as non-returnable before purchase where permitted by law.

These exclusions apply only to voluntary returns and do not override Australian Consumer Law rights relating to faulty or non-compliant goods.

Sale and Promotional Items

Sale, promotional, and discounted items may be subject to the same statutory consumer guarantees as full-price goods.

We do not exclude remedies for faulty goods simply because they were purchased at a discounted price.

A voluntary change-of-mind return for a promotional or clearance product may be restricted where the restriction was clearly communicated before purchase and is lawful.

Return Authorisation

Customers should contact us before sending a return.

Once a return request has been reviewed and accepted, we will provide instructions regarding where and how the item should be returned.

Items sent without following the provided return instructions may experience delays in processing.

Please do not send returns to an address found on packaging without first receiving return instructions from our customer service team, as fulfilment facilities and authorised return locations may differ.

Return Shipping

For voluntary change-of-mind returns, return shipping costs are generally the customer's responsibility unless we confirm otherwise.

For faulty, damaged, incorrect, or otherwise non-compliant products, reasonable return costs will be handled in accordance with applicable Australian Consumer Law.

Customers should retain return tracking information until their return has been completed.

Refund Inspection

After a returned product is received, we may inspect it to verify its condition and the nature of the return.

For eligible voluntary returns, once approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method wherever reasonably possible.

Where a statutory remedy applies, refunds will be handled in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Refund Processing Time

After we approve a refund, we will submit it to the original payment method as soon as reasonably practicable.

Financial institutions, card issuers, Shopify payment services, PayPal, or other payment providers may require additional processing time before the funds appear in the customer's account.

A typical payment-provider processing period may be approximately 5–10 business days, although the actual period is controlled by the customer's financial institution or payment provider.

Exchanges

Where an exchange is available, customers should contact us first.

Depending on stock availability, we may:

  • Replace the product;
  • Arrange an exchange;
  • Provide a refund so the customer can place a new order; or
  • Provide another remedy required by law.

We cannot guarantee that a replacement product will remain in stock.

Order Cancellations

If you wish to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible at:

info@dclcamax.shop

We will attempt to accommodate cancellation requests where the order has not yet entered processing or dispatch.

Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation may no longer be possible and the applicable return procedure may need to be followed.

Lost or Missing Deliveries

If tracking indicates that an order has been delivered but you have not received it, please check the delivery location, household members, building reception, neighbours where appropriate, and any carrier notices before contacting us.

If a shipment appears to have been lost in transit, contact us so that we can investigate with the relevant carrier and provide an appropriate remedy where required.

Proof of Purchase

We may request reasonable proof of purchase before processing a return or refund.

Acceptable proof may include:

  • Order confirmation;
  • Order number;
  • Payment confirmation; or
  • Other reasonable evidence showing that the product was purchased from dclcamax.shop.

Abuse of Return Process

We reserve the right to investigate suspected fraudulent, abusive, or dishonest return activity.

This does not affect genuine rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.
